Last updated: 30 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data The Hoord collects when you buy one of our kits or write to us, why we collect it and what your rights are. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who is responsible
The data controller is The Foorge, NRT F-421429-V, Carrer de l'Estadi 18, 1-1, AD500 Andorra la Vella, Andorra, which operates the brand The Hoord. For anything related to your data, write to [email protected].
What we collect
- When you buy: your name, email address, country, the products you bought, the amount paid and the order date.
- When you write to us: your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- On our product pages: basic technical data (device, browser, pages visited) and, where you allow it, advertising cookies used to measure which ads bring visitors.
We never receive or store your card or bank details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
Why we use it
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Delivering your kit and sending your receipt | Performance of the contract |
| Answering your messages and handling refunds | Performance of the contract |
| Keeping invoices and accounting records | Legal obligation |
| Telling you about related kits by email | Legitimate interest; you can unsubscribe in one click from any email |
| Measuring our advertising | Your consent, where required |
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers we need to run the shop, and only the data each one needs:
- Stripe, to process payments.
- Our checkout and delivery platform, which hosts the checkout and sends your download.
- Our email provider, to send receipts and replies.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to measure the performance of our ads, when you have allowed advertising cookies.
We do not sell your data to anyone. Some of these providers are based outside Andorra and the European Economic Area; they protect transfers with standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice data are kept for as long as tax law requires. Messages are kept while they are useful to support you. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw any consent you gave. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within one month. You can also complain to the Andorran Data Protection Agency (APDA) or to the authority in your own country.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
